When you first come in to see me, you might feel like you’re in the midst of a storm, trying to get your footing as the waves and wind challenge your balance. I’ll help you find ways to regain your balance and find some immediate relief. I’ll help you uncover and discover the patterns in your life that have been destructive or disruptive, and help you compassionately understand what is driving these patterns.

I will work with you to develop new ways of being, relating, and speaking your truth that allow you to live your most authentic life.

You are unique, so as I get to know you, I’ll offer a blend of effective techniques specifically suited to you.

I use Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness, and Self-Compassion, to help you understand the responses of your nervous system, calm your anxiety, and shift your depression. I help you develop inner resources and calming skills so that you can safely process painful memories or trauma with EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. Using these techniques, I help you embrace new, life-giving beliefs about yourself. I’m a Certified Daring Way™ facilitator, and can use the research and work of Brené Brown to help you address feelings of shame and unworthiness, develop shame resilience skills, and begin to show up in your life more authentically and courageously. I use all of the above along with Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, to help couples heal and strengthen their relationships.

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
— Howard Thurman

You want a change. You have a dream, or parts of it. The life you are living is beginning to feel too small for you. You feel in your core a desire to step into more.

Showing up, as your authentic selves, and walking into the arena that arena – whatever it is you are trying to do, become, or create, is a vulnerable process. It makes the strongest among us second-guess ourselves.

Who do you think you are?

Are you really ready?

What will people think?

At times, we all need a supporter and a guide.

In coaching, I’ll ask you questions to help you clarify your goals and intentions. We’ll address and move through feelings of overwhelm, and identify what is holding you back. I’m a Certified Daring Way™ facilitator, and can use the research and work of Brené Brown to help you address feelings of shame and unworthiness, develop shame resilience skills, step out of comparison and into valuing yourself, and practice courage. We’ll break it down into parts, and make a plan to move forward. You’ll begin to take steps, and I’ll cheer you on.
